Branded Stories

As branding evolves in the digital space, consumers want to engage with brands that have a something to say, a value system that inspires their own. By digging deep into what makes our clients authentic and emotionally relevant, we create cinematic short videos that give unique expression to these values.

For Baume et Mercier, one of the world’s oldest Swiss watch brands, 3rd Strand created a series of short films to help reinforce the brand position during the gift-giving seasons in North America. Celebrate Giving launched for the 2013 Holiday gifting season, while Celebrate Dad was launched for Father’s Day 2014.

Nostalgia, gratitude, affection, togetherness, and those simple but profound moments that shape our lives. These were the foundation of our approach to the Baume and Mercier short film series.

Celebrate Dad

Leading up to father’s day, 3rd Strand created this short story about a son’s gratitude for his father’s love and guidance. Recalling his childhood, the son takes us one journey through some of the key moments that helped make him into the young man he has become.

For a fourth quarter social media push, 3rd Strand created this portrait of Mom, Dad, and their grown children home for the Holidays. This short film reinforced Baume & Mercier’s image as the gifting brand while showcasing the new Clifton watch collection.
